Default Tire/wheel question

Have an 03 and am thinking about going to steel wheels but I have a question.
I want to fill the wheel well as good as I can without lowering. Since I'm going to purchase the wheels I can go with 15 or 16" wheels.
My question is: Should I go with the 15" and taller tires, or stick with the 16's and get as tall a sidewall as can fit.

It's the same either way. Just depends on you tastes far as the tire to wheel ratio. Also so your speedo will be off big time.

Busted; thanks for the info. I currently have 16's on it so would I be better off dropping to the 15 with taller tires. The rims are aftermarket and with standard tires I only have about 1/4 inch between the tire and the bottom of the strut spring.
Not so concerned about speedo cause I always drive with a gps and can see the speed on it.

But you do realize that this way your car will even get higher, your suspension will not be as firm anymore and your car will have worse roadability ?
