Default Lowered Suspension

Hi Everyone,

I am interested in lowering my car 2 inches with lowered springs. I drive on some rough roads sometimes and do a little "drifting" and doughnuts in the dirt. Will I have much trouble with the lowered suspension? If so, is there an alternative that will keep the car from becoming damaged? Thanks!

Unless you hit some really BAD ruts and bumps, lowering will only cause the front rubber valance to hit a couple times. Won't really hurt but in time you might want to replace it (not hard) after awhile.

I'm not really getting the part about "alternative" to lowering it? Either you lower it or keep it the way it is.

I think hes asking if theres a way to lower the car and not damage it. To answer your question, no. Unless you drive slow, you will scrape parts on the ground. Plus, your spring rate is cut in half so every bump will feel bad.

I recently changed springs, struts, and springs.2" lower in rear 1 1/2" in front. It still rides about like stock unless road is rough.they were progressive so even though they're lower they have same amount of spring. You can see the difference in the picture of mine and my wife's .
