Tires

IRPT, I think you said you have Eagle F-1, GS-D3 tires, do you happen to know the difference between D-2 and D-3? In searching I found D-2'S about half the cost of D-3. I assume there is a reason for this.

I checked feedback on the D-3's and everyone likes them. I checked Tire Rack and they have them for $ 160.00.

The GS-D2 has been discontinued, replaced by the GS-D3. The thread pattern is a little different, but since I've never had any D-2s I can't say how will they handle or ride. Since they were the top of the line F1's until replaced by the D-3 they should be pretty good. I am very pleased with my D-3s, fantastic handling in the rain, the best handling tire in the rain I have ever owned.

I checked the reviews on the D-3's and everone seems to like them. Unusual since every tire I have checked previously had mixed reviews no matter what tire it was.
I may give the D-2's a try though. I found them on a site for $ 88.00 each.

Well last night they had them at Online Tires but tonight they don't have my size.
They do have 215/45/17 in the D-3 for
$ 132.00 campared to Tire Rack at $ 137.00.
Anyone know of a better price? I have searched for the last hour and this is the best I can come up with.
