Default wheel/tire fitment question...

I keep finding deals on Craigslist and of course nothing is specifically for PT.
so, how about a 17x8 wheel with 35 offset and 225/45 tires?
They should fit, right?
Seller says they're from a vw jetta mk4.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
My cruiser needs some new "dubs".

I believe the pt's have the 5-100 bolt pattern, so that's what you need to look for

Yeah. I meant to mention that the wheels are 5x100 bolt pattern.
I think the offset will push the wheels out a bit from stock.
I'm hoping not too much, though.
