They are nice. Was thinking along the same lines when I was looking to upgrade and then the 17 inch GT wheels became available. If your ready to replace the tires, I'd go for the +1 upgrade to 17 inch. It's a great looking size for the PT.

P.S. Deleted your other post.

Not ready for new tires right now they have a lot of life left and we only pull her out when the sun is shining and so far this year that hasn`t been much around here. Does the backspacing and offset look right to you guys.

Hey Rich,

Alright, just a few adjustments for you here. Change the front from 16" to 19" x 7.5", back from 16" to 20" x 8.0, and change the words (Stock Suspension) to front 3" down, and back 5" down and she will look just about respectable, or of course you could just take a short cruise over to my shop and I will make a couple tweaks here and there for ya.

In all seriousness though, I would agree with Crewzin on this one as the 17" tends to lend itself nicely to the PT size wise. Probably not the best example here, but my PT still rides on the factory stock 17"s. Just enough to have a good full wheel and still be able to drive it comfortably.

Other than that, wheel design looks pretty cool. My two cents for what its worth anyway. I wish you all the best and remember, we all love pic's around here.

I believe the GT wheels are a +39mm offset and the 16" are probably the same. I think you can mount a +42mm wheel which puts the center about an 1/8" farther in and there should be room for the extra width, too. The worst case, you would have to use 5mm spacers but I don't think you will need them.
