Default Do I need a new lower control arm?

Hello fellow PT Cruisers,

I'm in need of some advice. I just replaced the LCA on the driver side. I took the car for a spin and then this:

It feels like a hole. Please tell me I'm not crazy and this are defective. Should I exchange them? I think I should but I'm lazy and I don't want to redo them.

Here is the passenger side. Should I get a replacement for this too?

Thanks!

The passenger side needs the bushing replaced. The new on has the holes just like the originals do to aid in flex. The squeeze out of the molded rubber makes it look like a tear. But it's fine , no worrys there.

Thank you for the info. It wasn't a really complicated or time consuming job, but I really didn't want to jack the car, take the wheel off and do everything all over again if I didn't have to. I just ordered the replacement for the passenger side so now I don't have to worry about that one being bad when I install it.
