Default how low can i go

What about 225/40 ...gives me 90 cm ...will that affect the speedo much
Because I think I will like the 'lowering' look without replacing the front springs

Because 90 cm is 35 in!

~25 in is stock. Any bigger and you'll be rubbing on the spring perch of the front shocks

Depends on your existing wheel and tire size whether or not it will affect your speedo.

I've got an '06 PT GT Vert, dropped on H&R SuperSport Springs, Tokico blues shocks/struts, then went with MB Drifterz wheels 18" x 7", factory wheels were 17" x 6.5", with 225/45 Pirelli P6's. I've spent quite a few days running at either 55 mph or 60 mph with three separate GPS units, each measuring my speed, and compared to my speedo I am going 3 mph faster than the speedo says. It's not exactly linear, but fairly close. As in at 20mph on the speedo, I'm only doing 21mph on GPS. At 85mph on the speedo, I'm doing 89mph on the GPS. Close to linear but not exact.

90 mm I get, but your first comment is 90 cm!!! That's why I didn't make a remark as 90cm would be bizarre.

Thumbs up Re: how low can i go

Wow, math in public...sorry guys
Bottom line is that for 245/40, it will be 90 mm from the ground... the distance the sidewall will be to the tire bead...the height of the tire from the rim to the tread.
That will lower the profile of the car because it is stock at 102.5 mm
So using 245/40s would be 'lowering it by 12.5 mm, 1.25 cm, or about 1/2 inch...not so much I guess...but I like that there is more rubber on the road...so I'm there
