Default How to tell when a CV joint is bad??

How can I tell if an axle CV joint is going bad?
I've got a lower speed, while accelerating from a stop light, chatter/mild vibration somewhere in the drive train that I can't locate. I feel it slightly in the seat and at the gas pedal.
It continues thru 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear shifts (automatic) until I reach above 35 mph or so.
It does not vibrate at highway speeds. Both boots are OK and no noticeable clicking noises at full lock turns.
I do have front end squeaking noises while going over speed bumps. Assuming it's LCA bushings...
Could this be the vibration source??
The '05 has 122K miles.

Doesn't sound like it.

Don't think so. I replaced both pass side upper and lower TQ struts a few months ago.

The chatter has me stumped? But rotate the wheels front to back so you can elimate wheels as a problem.

There are issues with torque converters that come up rarely here.

It's always best to eliminate known issues before looking into less likely items like torque converters- If LCA rear bushings are bad, replace bushings before looking further.
