Default REAR SHOCK BUSHINGS

Since it would BEHOOVE me to get this BEFORE I buy the shocks. Does anyone have a size and or part number for say Energy Suspension on replacing the rear rubbers of shocks with polyurethane? I HOPE to get that KYB special that Amazon is advertising BEFORE the price goes up ;-)

I would recommend not to replace the eye bushings in the shocks. KYB has a lifetime warranty but if you remove their rubber bushings and replace then with polyurethane bushings it will void the warranty. Also you will gain nothing by using them alone on the PT Cruisers rear suspension without other part upgrades and modifications. You may even get unwanted noises that will drive you "bonkers"?

To answer your question off the top of my head....IDK what the eye bushing size is.

SOUND ADVICE; I did not know KYB had a REAL lifetime warranty

As long as the cover is not dented or punctures, if the shock leaks oil or sags a KYB dealer will replace it. In most cases prof of original purchase is not always necessary.

It is really difficult to hurt a KYB shock anyway.
