Default NEW LCA BUSHING

This appears to be a new design LCA bushing from Moog. Called the problem solver.

Busted; Too late! ----- Noticed they don't have the flange that the originals have and the old style Moogs have?

Just a dumb design. A vertical bushing used to control horizontal motion????? ------- Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to fail. ----- "Good job Brownie"

Looks a lot simpler than the 3-piece Energy Suspension bushing. That's a nightmare getting in place

Cool Re: NEW LCA BUSHING

That looks like a really nice piece!

I defiantly agree with you, InfernoGT, on that, it has to be way easier than the ES bushing install! I bet it works as well or maybe even better too.

Looks like RockAuto has them for $22 each too.

Uptown; thanks for the link. I like the design better and think it will give a more positive steering response. [Less side flex] --- It may also be a little harsher when hitting a pothole. Time and owner feedback will tell.

Of course.... one week after I installed new Moog LCA's... LOL

Ahh well, I kept the old arms so when it's time again I can just re-bush.

If I read this correctly you replaced the complete lower control arm with a MOOG. If that is the case they come with this bushing.

That is the case.... so it's just the bush being available as a loose part that's new?

no no no...LOL you should be fine Troy!

Danny Busted_PT simply posted information he found about the MOOG bushing. The MOOG problem solving bushing has been around since about last year and was incorporated into all the Lower control arm assemblies from MOOG for the PT Cruiser. Any old stock with MOOG was updated but to be sure if you order from an on line vendor that has a physical retail store of supplying warehouse to ask the production date of the LCA or at least if they do in fact have the updated problem solving bushing installed .
