Default Moog K7348 sway bar kit

I put new Mood control arms in my 2006 PT cruiser this last weekend (I'm second owner and pretty sure they were the originals with 128k on them, so squeaky as hell).

I also replaced all the rubber on the sway bar.

But these end links I had a hell of a time with.... anyone get them installed on theirs correctly? Amazon review were good, but I couldn't get them to thread with the head down and trying to put the bushing in the middle and they came with no instructions.

So right now they are in with the bushing out.

Do you have to install them with the car on ramps or on the ground?

The rest of the rubber I'm happy with so far!

You'll probably need to jack the sway bar up a bit. The bushings have to compress. That's what I had to do with my new endlinks.

I assume you had to jack up both sides? That's the problem I was having trying to figure it out... car was up on stands and I only own one jack, but with the sway bar you have to basically thread both end links at the same time....

Yup, sway bars don't like to bend lol

I did mine with the car on ramps. Very easy that way.

I think the K7348 is the wrong end link for my '02 as well. They are 6" long and the originals are 4". The Moog K700525 is the right length but they are polyurethane which some members here have said are noisy or will ruin something else or make your dog catch on fire or something.

What I do know is that the local wheel shop here (owned and operated by a fellow PT enthusiast) installed my Moog control arms yesterday, but balked at installing the K7348 links I brought them. The owner told me that they are the wrong links, too long, etc. and that he'll get me the right ones or I can get them and bring them in.
