Default 02 pt cruiser... Worst to happen driving with bad watts link ??

I have a bad watts link that needs to be replaced... This is my sole driving vehicle and it's now starting to shake anything over 80km/h.
I wanna know what will happen if I can't get it changed right away ?

Explain what you mean by shake? What do you feel and how?

Watts link or bell crank is known to cause clunking, but not vibration.
I think your vibration is due to another cause.
Start with putting front tires on back and see if anything changes.

It is a clunking, it is the watts link.
It started off as only loud clunking when going over bumps, now it is still clunking but constant and makes not the steering wheel shake but my whole car. I just want to know what happeneds when it's not replaced right away as I can not change it right now

The read axel will not fall off or the tires will not stop turning its jsut the ride will be lousey and luoude

While doing the watts link project I had taken the system completely off our PT. I drove without it for a week before re-installing it. I do not advise this but I drove around town and almost forgot that it was completely off the Cruiser.

I would have to ponder how a bad wattslink system could cause a vibration? Clunking and bad stability going over rail road tracks but a vibration....?

Not sure how a shock would cause a vibration either. You can run without those as well. Unless perhaps the piston was damaged and there was sticktion on the valve and body? But that would be real unusual for it to happen on a 2 wheel drive vehicle?

I don't doubt your watts link is bad, I am agreeing with Nitro that I don't think that is the cause of your vibration.
As I said, swap front tires to back, and see if the vibration changes.

I agree totally....Your vibration sounds like #1-Bad Tire(broken belt/bulge).#2-Thrown a Wheel Weight(Tire Out of Balance),#3-Possible Bad Strut(front wheel hopping?)Moving the front tires to the back will determine if it is a tire,or something else.

Could also be a bad wheel bearing or both going bad, when I removed mine when I got the car to do a check over the inner race stayed on the axle while the hub pulled off, could a bad watts link not cause the wheels to be out of alignment tho causing vibration?
