Swap tires front-to-back and see if vibration changes...

what MPH does it start at and does it get louder the faster you go?
do you feel it in the steering wheel, your butt, the gas pedal?
does it get louder when you swerve left or right?
is it better or worse when you hit the brakes?
is it better or worse coasting vs accelerating?
does the car pull at all, or feel rickety at a certain speed?
any noise with the vibration?

i'd GUESS wheelbearing. maybe they over/under tightened it when they changed the axle. or.. maybe it's a bad new axle to begin with.

it's still a good idea to do what he says and rotate the tires. it's the only free thing to try before you $pend$$$

Well, then either install was botched or CV joint is out of balance - you do it?
If you had it done, take it back.

I had it done at the shop I work at. Vibration starts at 65mph... steering wheel starts shaking. No noise while vibration. Does get worse while accelerating .. brakes dont change it...
