Default Pencil Strut

I had some front end work done on my PT Cruiser a copy weeks ago. They recommended changing the Serpentine belts which I did.

When changing the belt I noticed that the top bolt holding the pencil stut was grinded off. I am affraid this was done when they fixed the control arms and tie rods. I drilled it out and fixed the pencil stut on the passenger side.

My question is - is there a pencil strut on the driver side. I haven't jacked the car up yet, but just feeling arround I didn't notice one on the driver side.

Any help with the approximate location would be great, I would like to hopefully only do a visual inspection as this job has turnd into much more then replacing a belt!

The pencil strut exists on the passenger side only.
