Default Height of a original PT/GT

Hi.
Odd question perhaps, but does anyone have the information about the height of an original PT measured from the center of the wheel to the fender.
Both front and back.
Would like to see how much I lowered mine
Gone from lowered spring to coils, so I don't have any original measurement.

The measurements are in each specific model PT Cruiser factory service Manual.

There is no single measurements for all years and models.

Okej, I mean give or take, if the car has certain miles on it it gets lower and lower as the springs worn out.
It not written in stone I just want an estimate, how high is an grandfather driven PT.

ok give but to be a bit more accurate and not very of the cuff with a responses we still need to know the model and year?

How about you post the four corner measurements that you have. Please adjust all the tire to the same air pressure and on level ground nothing extra in the car and no more then half tank of fuel. Close to half would be better easier to figure the pounds per gallon to compensate.
Some of might better help you with your thoughts about this?

Other wise you could have found it on googal search by now.

the way i read his original post, he is looking for an odd measurement. from the center of the hub, to the highpoint of the wheel opening.

Yeeea and there it goes from a simple question to science.
Or I can just wait until a PT comes by my workshop or go to the parking lot outside the mall. Btw. The year of my Gt is 2004.
I only hoped for an estimate Nitro.

A while back I got this information from MOOG on original ride height of the PT, but they don't measure it how you want it measured, they measure from the ground to the wheel well opening at the top, or highest point.

It is not science and their is no such thing as an estimate to many variables.

Here you go an approximation.
With stock 17"wheel and factory 205/50/17 @ 28psi cold, ground to center of wheel well front 29 1/8 aprox.
rear 29 1/2 aprox.

Hi Mattias,

On my 2005 PT GT with what I believe to be original springs, the height from wheel center to fender is 15.5 inches for both the front and the back.

From just looking at the car, it appears the rear of the car sets higher. And this is also indicated by the slight angle of the bottom edge of the car's body. But the measurements to the fender are the same.

And it should be noted that my driveway has a slope to the rear. So my PT is not on completely flat ground. But I doubt the slope is enough to affect this measurement substantially. As discussed, this is an estimate.
