Unhappy Broken Lower link of watts link

Hi all. New here.

Having a bad couple weeks. A homeless guy cut into my convertible top and slept in the car a bit ago. Luckily I could get insurance to cover it and a quote low enough where they wouldn't total it.

Then a few days ago I ran over a rock that bounced and snapped the lower link part of the rear watts link suspension into two pieces. The car now wobbles terribly when making any quick turns or going over uneven road.

I've seen guides to replacing the entire watts link assembly that require special tools.

My question is would it be easier to just replace the lower link (not the center articulating point)? What kind of tools would I need? What would be a reliable parts supplier? If it's easy enough, I'd rather try the repair myself.

I can post a picture if necessary.

Many thanks.
