Default Rolling on 20s

20 inch Wheels install and balance.
MSR 087 Chrome
20 X 7.5
40 ET
225 X 35 X 20 Continental Extremes DWS

Thinking on rebuying the chrome side spear covers.
If someone can photo shop the chrome side spear it would help me decide.
Thanks

Rob and Robin and I think Eli are all good at phtoshopping pictures!

Rob aka rob342
Eli aka 2008ptcruzrtouring
*****Robin aka Chromenut

Photo hint:

When photographing a dark colored vehicle find a neutral and plain light color background.
Look at the reflections in the body panels as well.

Okay.

I just use Microsoft paint. But it's a fair likeness.

Nice Job Handy.
Thanks

I think it looks better without. But maybe because the color is off a little.
By the way the wheels look much better in person than in the photo.
The center of the wheels did not show how they really look.

Maybe if it were "black Chrome"?

Todd can you adjust the color for that suggestion?

I'm at work and only have MS Paint to work with. Basically and I'm free handing this. Can't do much more from here.

well still looked good for a quickey!

Actually black chrome wheels would be "smart" looking on that PT. IMO

The German saxophone company, Keilwerth, made a professional saxophone with this finish. They likely call it black chrome or smoke chrome on these wheels. But it's likely a nickel sulfur plating process over an aluminum alloy. Very hard and very durable if done right.

But for the pro saxophone, Keilwerth made the saxophone itself out of nickle and then applied the black nickel plating over that. As long as you don't have a nickel allergy, that's one fine sounding sax. Ironically, Chinese companies almost immediately started taking extremely cheap saxophones with a very thin coat of nickel sulfur plating on top. The Chinese had to put clear spay paint over it to make the crappy finish shiny. So they are everywhere today.

But here's the real deal. It doesn't hold a candle to my 1941 Buescher Big B, it's close
