Default Cooper CS5 Grand Touring Review

I've had the Coopers on for about 4 months now. My old tires were Michelin Destiny 205/55/16 T. The new ones are the same size and speed rating. I had always thought Michelin was the best until I got the Coopers. Immediately after putting the new tires on, I noticed improved steering response with no additional ride harshness. The new tires also handle well in the rain and snow. One time it was raining so hard I could barely see and the tires performed as if it was dry.

I did get a nail in one of the new tires and finding a replacement was near impossible because every tire shop I went to didn't sell them. I ended up buying another off Amazon. It was a good thing I saved my old tires because I just mounted and balanced the old one until I got the new one.

I'll probably buy these tires again in the future.

I mighty suggest you may want to post your other thread info about your suspension your did. The condition of the suspension has a great effect on tires and how they work on any vehicle. Otherwise a review on tires is somewhat incomplete.

I replaced the suspension a couple of thousand miles before I installed the new tires.

Alright well it's been some time ever since I've replaced my tires and it's time to start thinking about new ones again. The Coopers now have 3-4/32nds of tread. They are still performing great but eventually won't pass state inspection. I found a 2017 Consumer Reports Buying Guide at Kroger and saw that the Michelin Defender scored top place and the Cooper CS5 got #8. Michelin no longer makes the T speed rated Defender's. They are only H rated now. I'm trying to decide if I want to risk it and get the Defender T+H or stick with the Cooper CS5 Grand Touring. Any input is much appreciated.
