Default Watts link or Bell crank centre whole too small.

hello,

I have owned 4 PT Cruisers over the years and just recently bought an 04 Turbo automatic. Love the car but like those before it the watts link requires replacement. Problem is I have tried both dealer and aftermarket parts and both have the same issue. The center mounting hole on the replacement link is too small. The old part uses what appeared to be a 15mm or larger bolt while the new parts use a smaller 14.5mm bolt.

Any ideas, I'm stuck in the garage!

hey check this out:

New Mopar 07 10 PT Cruiser Rear Track Bar Link Bellcrank Wattslink 5006148AA | eBay

read the description: " If you are having problems with the replacement part you purchased having a too small bolt hole this is the replacement you are looking for "

the axle on your car may be a newer one. maybe it was in an accident, maybe someone decided to swap it out for a different reason. either way, sounds like the part above is what you need.
