Default rear hub

what size nut holds the hub on and is the hub the same for disc and drum brakes?

came here looking for some answers to help me get a job done with out having to make 4or 5 trips to get what i need . i guess this aint the place

It's a 30 mm vinyl locking nut. Here's a link with photos:

It's a 30 mm (uses 30 mm socket) vinyl locking nut. Here's a link with photos:

Todd it was in the information that Rob poted. This new meber was imo even too lazy to open the provided thread from Rob.

Do you often help people like this that are strangers and demanding?
Look how the member started the thread? Look at the very little information only a demand for help! How about the universal word PLEASE would have at least been polite ?

And lastly how quick to dismiss the forum because the answer was not given fast enough?

sorry guys you are right . i didn't realize that that was a link untill i looked closer. i just thought he was trying to be funny. i looked at the link,great info.just kind of frustrated over here.just had over 400 dollars of susp work do ne on the cruiser and 8 hours later the rear hub lets go.then today i popped a brake line on my ranchero. not been a good week.will try to be more like a human being .

14 minutes!! i would have been faster but i checked alldatapro.com looking to see if the drum/disk sizes were different, but they don't list a size, only torque specs.

ok got both hubs changed in less than 2hours. job went smooth. I want to thank every body for the help. great site,great people . I hope from now on things will go better than that first post. well on to the brake line on the ranchero.
