Question "Known good" 16" wheels for turbo?

I'm getting discouraged trying to buy wheels mail-order (nothing is available locally in the style I'm seeking).

I know there is this dodgey "x-factor' issue with the inside shape of the wheel possibly scraping the caliper (regardless of offset).

But can anyone offer the "known good" offset for 16 inch wheels (16x7?) that fit without spacers and/or grinding?

thanks in advance!

Yes. Tire Rack will only show rims that fit if you enter PT Turbo.
I got 16" rims with tires mounted (balanced) and just had to bolt them on - ZERO issues.
The rims were only $85 @.

TireRack has LOTS of nice wheels - just nothing in a "cragar-ss-inspired" style.

If I'm gonna dump a thousand bux into a new set of wheels, they need to give the desired hot rod effect!

No 16"...just 17"

AR105 Torq-Thrust M

AR605 Torq-Thrust M

I searched for my PT, but I don't see a problem with them fitting yours.

Yep, those Chrome torque-thrust are just the ticket!

Unfortunately, my ScottishGenes® make it very difficult for me to upsize to a 17 inch wheel!

1) 17 inch wheels cost more than 16 inch wheels

2) 17 inch tyres cost more than 16 inch tyres

3) the combined weight of 17 inch tyres and wheels > the combined weight of 16 inch tyres and wheels ∴ we're talking some sort of handicap in the fuel economy department
