A little off topic but to the point.....

I took my Corvette engine apart and had it powder coated silver. The Plenim (top long 2 piece), runners (tubes on both sides from Plenim to manifold) and both valve covers done for $200.00. So check around if there's more than one place that does that kind of work in your area.

MY technical suggestions are given in GOOD FAITH without total guarantee, if in doubt go to a garage.

I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.

Looks like perfectly normal wheels on a car driven in the winter up here in the Northeast. It's just salt corrosion getting under the plastic coating.

The rust on that wheel well looks like surface rust - easily fixed.

Look at the rust on my RATMOBILE wheel well. (Not to mention that both rocker panels are completely gone.) I just broke off the big chunks and scraped them down. I'll just have to keep them "clean" with a blast of the hose whenever I can. It's a Winter Rat.....

The front passenger side is a lot worse. Pretty normal for up here.
