Default Steering jerk

2003 PT cruiser base, 125K. I recently replaced both front wheel bearings and PS hose. right wheel bearing actually failed and was broken. Issue, after making a sharp left turn coming up to speed, shifting to third gear the car makes a sudden jerk to the right. Appears to be less severe when accelerating fast. I have not noticed similar response coming out of a right turn. Car seems to drive and track well after shift coming out of left turn. Has been consistent at the moment of shifting to third gear. Suggestion?

Default Re: Steering jerk

I have an 02 with the EXACT same problem! However, I know that the front steering and suspension are in bad need of work

Lower Control Arms
Sway bar links
in the rear the bell crank

I have been told by several mechanics that it could be tie rod related or possibly even the rack itself.

I have also had it suggested that it maybe related to the bell crank not working properly.

If I ever figure it out, I will let you know...and I hope if you figure it out, you will let us know.
