Default Different design axelshaft / CV-shaft

Hey guys,

After I replaced the cv seal on the transmission passenger side, I noticed that the shaft had a loose/de-greased boot on the transmission side. It was a factory rebuilt unit from master-pro that I purchased from oriely auto. I took it there to getvreplaced under the warranty, I was presented with a much different looking unit. I was informed that this unit was a much better quality unit in terms of the boots/seals/metal/etc.... I noticed that the heads were the same size, but the connecting point did not have the indentations, the abs ring is thicker, and sits back on the shaft more, and the counter-balanced weight is no longer required/installed. The length seemed to match up ok, maybe like 1/32nd longer.
Does this look like it will be ok? Without weight on the suspension the shaft boot looks like it's sitting lightly on top of the sway-bar end-link bolt. Kinda don't like how the drivers side is the old style at the same time as well...
