Default Bell Crank Question

Is it possible to undo the lateral links at the body, unbolt the bell crank from the axle and take it all out as one piece? Or do I have to remove the ball joint end from the bell crank to remove it all?

I'm looking at replacing all of it, so if I can take it all in one part and the put the new stuff in as all one piece, it would save me a pile of extra work.

Cool Re: Bell Crank Question

Yes you can somewhat easily unbolt the end-links from the car. The ends of the lateral links have bushings with a through bolt. Then unbolt the bell-crank from the axle and pull the whole thing out. The ball joint ends aren't meant to be removed from the lateral links, the tubing is crimped down on the threads.

When I replaced the watts linkage in mine, I removed it all as one unit and installed the new one as one unit.
