Default Chrysler Hubcaps

Hi folks, hope everyone is well.
I was looking around for a way to dress up the wheels and came across a 1946-ish Baby Moon cap with Chrysler script.
Chrysler script hubcap 1946.jpg
While I have full moon caps (couldn't make a file small enough to show the '46 full moon photo), I thought adding the script to my caps would look good.
Would you suggest having the lettering made by a sign shop in vinyl or creating a stencil and painting it on with One Shot paint?
I trust the accuracy of the vinyl lettering more; but don't know if a shop will create a corporate name (probably depends on the shop).
Just looking for thoughts...
Thanks,
Peter

PS... probably going to add a small rockabilly style crown above the "rys" in Chrysler to play off the old Imperial logo. I have way too much free time.

BM's look nice - these are VW Beetle caps. PITA to mount - had to drill and tap screws into the steelies, but looked OK when finished. The chroming was sh*te though - they didn't last one winter

I think the paint would withstand the heat of the brakes better than the vinyl.

Could even have a local body shop laser/water jet cut the letters!
Would make painting the letters easier.

The laser cut letters never crossed my mind; but what a great idea! Have to do some hunting for a shop that has the equipment. I saw some metal shops that have $200 minimum quotes for small jobs. Need to find a body shop that would understand what I'm looking for. I fear seeing a $50 cap rolling behind me on the highway
Also agree with Slowrider that heat may be an issue with vinyl lettering. Have more research to do on that.

Timing is everything... I first posted on this in October but had to put it on hold due to a back problem and household expenses. I went back to a print shop that does vinyl work just yesterday and found these new comments last night!
Thanks for the ideas, I'll have something fun on the wheels within a month or so!

Hi sorry for the confusion... I posted the pic of baby Moons with the Chrysler script as an example of what I'd like to do on Full Moon caps. I have stock 02 base wheels and, while some have attached mounting clips for Baby Moons - I don't have the nerve to drill into my wheels!
The full moons do a great job of hiding most of the stock wheel... I painted the exposed edges to cover some rust and match the interior color.
no pics at the moment.

Caps are from Speedway Motors site
