Default Toyo tires

Does anybody have Toyo Proxe 4 tires and how do you rate them? I want to put them on 16" oem chrome 5 spoke. What size do you have?

I have these tires on our GLH-S in 205/40/17. They are excellent all around performers, if just a bit louder than the Pirelli's they replaced....but I've only got about 200 miles on them so it's still too early give you a final verdict.

So far so good[?]

Yea, I have the Toyo proxes 4 on my cruiser 20" in the rear and 18" up front.[:X] They are very nice and stylish too. Rides smooth but you can kinda hear them not too loud though. I try to take my cruiser into a corner hard sometimes and my pt stays glued to the pavement. I love them!! I have them on only for the summer time but it is an all season tire with a 300 treadwear rating. get them, you will love em!!

I like the toyo proxy 4 tire. I have a set of 16x6" 5 spoke Oem chrome wheels. I was told that 225/55 16 tires will fit but will this give me a better ride, more or less road noise, raise or lower the car, better handling?

i think you should go to 225-50R16.they're the
same height as the 205-55.that's the size i will
look for when i will need new tires.

As compared to 205-55? Raise car a tad, a little better ride (taller sidewall). Handling about the same/slightly worse - not much of a size difference...

Have Toyo Proxes 4 205/ZR40-17 on my GT and they are the best tires I've had. Super grip, glued to the road. Hard to spin the tires we I really get on it [8)]
