No Problem,
I remember those good ol days when I was 16 lovin my car as well.. I can tell you that your doing the right thing by asking around and also look at various systems to see what type of drop you'll get.. From my knowledge I don't think that the stuff from aim will give you the drop that your looking for.. I was running cylinders on my cruiser up front and did my own rear bag set up saving mw some $$. Ride quality was abit agressive but it tucked the front really nice (trade off). After logging 23,000 miles on the cylinders I decided to swap out for strut bags, so I have on order a set of easystreet air struts. Air Ride make a strut bag for the cruiser but the drop isn't that great. The struts from Easy Street will give me the drop that I want.. Go to Killercustoms.ca and check out there cruiser using the easystreet front 03 Neon kit on the cruiser to get an idea of the drop they offer. You can find some pics of my cruiser on this site as well in some past post to get an idea of what I did..
Kevin

i know i want air struts. The best one i can find so far would either be to piece together a kit, or buy the one from airbagit.com for 1300 bucks.

Taylormade: Hey man - cruiser's all about style - nice to see some younger guys out there not obsessed with rice.

Rock out your PT - I'm in the same boat as you - just gotta get the cash man... just gotta get the cash.

Chromejob: if you're so worried about speed and such (which I admit is nice) why'd you get a cruiser? I mean - yes you can get them going... but seriously - not the most ideal platform...

The nice thing about the cruiser is you can get them going and not many people know that. Seeing a PT pull up to you and want to run at you makes people laugh, until they see your brake lights in front of them. I know I got this pissed off look from a young dude with an attitude, driving a Mustang GT. He saw me trying to take on a car that wasn't interested, but decided to take me on, since we were coming of the same exit. I just loved the look on his face after I beat him, then slowing down to give him the "thumbs up".

Well being 16, I didnt really get to choose what car i was to obtain. If i had the choice, I would get a PT GT. I would like to say Im not a ricer, but my car isnt fast, and I do have an exhaust and a giant tip. Im not 100 percent sure on the exact definition on what a ricer is, and people have different translations of it. Anyway, thats not what Im aiming for. Im getting a couple more engine mods over christmas to give it a little more go, and to handle better. The air suspension is a little more expensive than I thought it would be, and the chances of it happening are very slim

From my understanding of a ricer is, if you see a car and immediately think "Fast & Furious"...then you can call it a ricer.

Taylor,
Here is what you'll get with the Easystreet front air struts(02-04 neon)and 255c bags in the rear. The wheels are Motegi's 19 x 8 with a 215/35 falken tire. Kevin

Kevin,
What does a setup like that cost and do you have some contacts to get the setup from?
