I was looking on E-bay this afternoon and found pads and rotors for the PT made by Lomandi. Has anyone heard of this company? Reputable? Are the pads and rotors any good?

Believe it's a Canadian Company. Don't know or read of anybody that has purchased their rotors and/or pads. So how good they are and how long they will last is unknown. The rotor prices seem to be in line with other offerings but the Kevlar pads seem to be priced a lot lower than more well known companies, like EBC or KVR.

The rotors are of your average zinc plated harder type. But the kevlar pads, that's a different subject. They perform great! Faster stopping, little to no noise, and little brake dust. Also, they have great "bite". I had them on my 2001 PT. As for how long they last, I didn't have them very long before my PT burned. I had them for about a month, but I was totally happy with them. Sci-Fi is right; they are a canadian company, and I brought the set on Ebay. I'd buy them again if they are available for the GT's.

I figured I'd bump this with some info. These are NOT made in Canada as implied on some forums. BTW, this is a public record available on the web.

Having seen some of the Lomandi product, it's obviously a cheap knockoff of Wagner/Raybestos product. Last edited by Ronobo; 24 Feb 2010 at 07:31 pm. |
