I have the Toyo Proxes 4 which is a perfect High performance All-season Tire for a great price too.

We are running 215/45/17 Dunlop SP8000's on our PT as Summer tires, and they are great.......no issues at all. We switched back to the stock 16" wheels (on Goodyears) and also put the stock muffler back on for the Winter, just last weekend.
The Dunlops looked good and wore evenly, so I can't wait until next Spring to put them back on [8)]

Just wondering why you would put your stock muffler back on?

Mostly because, since we run a Supertrapp, the diffuser discs would collect plenty of road slop as we muck through another f u n k y Michigan Winter. I'm also going to look into getting it powdercoated, because the supposedly high-heat factory paint they use is a bit < ahem > weak
