Default Wheel Possibility?

I was looking at an ad in Hemmings for Mopar muscle car stock steel replacement wheels. One of the wheels looked like the smoothies offered for PT's. It was steel, smooth and had lugs for a center hub cap. Looked like it was for a police cruiser or taxi. Anyone know if steel muscle car era Mopar 15" wheels would work on a PT?

No. most Mopar RWD cars are 5 lug, 4.5 inch circle (5 on 4 1/2). The early (pre-69) Barracuda, Valiants and pre-73 darts (also called BVDs) are 5 on 4. The PT is 5 on 100mm. The offest is different, too. On RWD cars, the flat surface where the wheel mounts to the car is in the center or more toward the inside. On PT's the offest is more toward the outside of the wheel. Then there is the issue of the center hole and caliper clearance. There are smoothies available for PTs, and if you check the company's website, they may carry them.
