Default Any experience with either of these tires?

Thinking of replacing Goodyear LSs with either Goodyear Assurance TripleTreds or Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. Realize that these are quite different choices, but both get really good reviews from users on the tirerack.com site, and I'm looking primarily for something a good bit better in the rain, etc.

The TripleTred seems to be much the same as the Michelin HydroEdge, is a bit cheaper & users rate it more highly. The PZeros are a good bit stickier I would think, and still have a reasonable treadwear rating (400).

Anyone have any experience or thoughts regarding either/both? Thanks...

Just to add another tire if you haven't already seen it, since you consider the reviews at tirerack worthy...

Thanks guys - appreciate the input. Guess I'll nose around a bit more.

I've had no experience with Fuzion, but have had real good luck with Conti & Pirelli tires on both 4-wheelers and bikes (Beemer & Moto Guzzi).

Experience with Michelins has also been good with cars, but only so so on the Beemer - just didn't feel as secure as my Contis or Metzelers (wish Metzeler made car tires!).

The Michelins aren't quite as "grippy" in the dry, give the best life (wear) and less deterioration in wet/snow - my opinion.

When I put my GT rims on I needed new tires. I went with KUMHO Ecsta Supra 712's. They're Ultra High Performance summer tires that are rated excellent in everything except snow. Cornering is unbelievable and it didn't hurt the ride any more than I was experiencing with the Eibach lowering springs.

Just recently purchased a set of the Assurance Tripletreds. Do not have lots of miles on them yet, but I am impressed. Smooth ride, very quiet and very responsive. Replaced a set of Cont Extteme contacts. They wer nice ride, not as quiet, and were worn bad at 20000 miles.

Love my Toyo Proxes 4 tires. Best tires I've owned.
