Did you guys make sure the retaining washer was removed when you put your new wheels on ??? Had the same wobble and all I had to do was remove the retaining washer from the one stud and the wobble disappeared.

No, there wasnt a retaining washer with these rims

Well, we finlly got the Hub Centric Rings on and it made a huge difference. No wobble no more

I had a vibration problem with aftermarket wheels. Try to torque the wheels. Air wrenches don't do a good job. My winter wheels were balanced 5 times and it still shook. A friend put ceramic brake pads on for me and used the proper torque on the wheels in the proper order and no more shake. Most of these tire stores have no clue how important it is to get the wheels centered. The rings aren't always the answer. If the wheels are correctly balanced the proper torque will take care of the problem.

The rims were always torqued to 100 ft/lbs.. Never made a difference

See, that is the problem. That’s what the rings do. They center the wheel. With the Inner bore of the Aftermarket wheels being bigger then the bore of the wheel hub, the wheels can never be centered properly. That’s where the hub centric ring comes into play. It takes up that empty space between the wheels and hub to center the wheel.[?]
