Default bigger wheels

I have an 05 GT with 17" wheels which I really like but........ I installed sidepipes and have drastically reduced my ground clearance, most speedbumps are no longer an option. if I go to a 19" wheel I know about the performance factors and speedo being off, but will the tires rub? If they do I guess I will just have to avoid speedbumps 18" wheels would only give half an inch more clearance and that won't justify the expense

buy a 4" lift kit for a dodge truck. Find some way to make it fit the pt, and swap out the suspension. Should be pretty easy. []

Its not quite as simple as you're suggesting, mooniac [8] You also have to look at the aspect ratio. That gives you your final overall diameter or tire height. [8D] Perhaps you could even find a suitable tire height keeping your 17" wheels.
