im not sure how many others have done this but ive only seen white wheels

Sorry for the crappy pic its from a camera phone



Note: thats highgloss black with the outside lip left the original silver

make sure the edge won't chip. A good powder coat should hold up. Must match the rest of the mods.

Is that the "Hyperblack" paint that I've heard about? Or is it called "Black Chrome"? If you did it yourself, was it hard to do?

Im related to the person who did the actual painting. I used Centari Highgloss Black paint. Nothing Special. However i did spend about 3 hours on each wheel with wet sandpaper.

Looks good The Problem is the paint most likely won't hold up. I have a set of American Racing wheels that they clear coated. after 2 winters about half the clear coat was gone. The salt and crap they put on the roads around here really does a number on painted wheels.

ahh but this is how getting the wife to see it your way works. What i really want is a nice set of wheels. She wanted me to take the cheap route. Get it? I try cheap route, next spring it looketh like crap. and i get my nice set of wheels with the wifeys blessings!

Well i got the wheels mounted and put back on the car. i also painted the calipers. Once again i apologize for the crappy cell phone pictures.
