I adjusted in 90 degree increments (turn), trying different levels of firmness. Each turn made the shocks noticeably firmer. The Cruiser cornered flatter, turned in quicker, and felt more controlled (if not a little harsher) with each adjustment. One full turn was great. Two full turns was too harsh for our dilapidated Michigan roads, but it might be fun on better roads or an autocross circuit. My favorite setting was at one full turn (360 deg). The car felt really aggressive and sporting and I was having fun hustling it around corners. My wife preferred the base setting, so I adjusted it to just-turn from the base setting and found it was a good compromise for each of us. Besides, it's not like I can't re-adjust it to my whims when I've got the car to myself.
We're extremely pleased with the KONI adjustable sport shocks. They've completely reinvigorated our car. Knowing that I'll never have to replace them gives me a real peace of mind too. I can't think of anything I'd rather replace my old shocks with.
