BUYING A NEW CAR FOR LONG TRIPS!
Well, for the second time in a month, we had to rent a car for a long trip to San Antonio this time.
Having the 3rd car is very convenient for when one of the others goes into the shop for a massage.
But, the downside is, both my PTs are well over 100K.
And the wifie's love, her 1993 Grand Marquis is over 160K with a half block and tranny replaced.
So, I decided to bite the bullet, sell one of the PTs and get a roomy MOPAR for necessary trips.
Looked around a lot last week, and found this beauty, a low mileage 2021 Chrysler 300C, a Florida car, in a lot north of Tulsa, OK. (big Chevy dealer)
I don't think they knew exactly what they had.
As these guys go for $47K and up when new; she is just one year old.
I talked them down some from the internet price, as I wanted to pay cash; and they will service detail, and replace the front tires.
The big downside is, with the Flagship Panel PT being my life-long future project ( 2 more mods in the works), and a lot invested in her; I will have to sell the 2005 HO Gt Vert that I only bought a year ago in California.
Breaks my hear, as I just got done fixing her all up, and doing the 80K service.
She'll be on the market within a month or less, for anyone interested.
