mine just need the insides done,, but out indes are easy 2 times a year by that method,
Mine is Much much easier buy a can of clear spray enamel can and spray your headlights lightly or until you see a good clear Headlight

its def on the list ..but a purge valve is first in line most likely...then i will read and do whats most recommended...I am amazed they are even glazed still..my car was either covered or under cover without sunlight even hitting front end ....it never sat in sunlight for long.. its was a backup car most of its life,, I had several daily drivers...used it mainly for long distance trips with my old dog...

If your clearing you need not to go so smooth. Just Either 600 or the other and shoot the clear. Make sure it's one of those really crystal clear coats you see these days. You can sand and buff the clear if you put several coats on.

Some polishing of headlights done today. The passenger headlights looks fine after 10 minutes of polishing with Colgate MaxWhite, but the driver headlights has some bad looking smudge on the inside.
Toothpaste, cheap but really effective way to do it, at least for a while.

That blotch looks like it ate into the lens - doesn't look like it's inside.
I bet wet sanding will remove it. Or try claybar.
