Default Above windshield coming apart

Not sure what this is called or how to replace?? (Hopefully the photos come through). They did not, they are in my gallery, hopefully you can see them

Am thinking about putting a piece of 2 sided gorilla tape on each clip, but not holding a lot of faith.

ANY idea or suggestion would be appreciated!!

Thx
Joe

I was able to down load and size your photos so they could be posted on the Forum.

SOOO BIG's not a convertible and that windshield insert is unique to PT convertibles.

I'm guessing, your idea of using a double faced Gorilla Glue tape to reaffix the convertible windshield insert, might hold as well as the original Chrysler adhesive.
Unfortunately, keep in mind, the tape will add the thickness of the tape to the points of adhesion, spacing the insert a bit higher than original.
You may have to remove all the old glue from the mounting blocks first.
Another type of automotive adhesive suggestion might be forth coming from another PT member.
I'd place it every where the original glue is.
To insure adhesion, first clean all points of contact with alcohol or thinner.
You can see the original points of adhesion on the back of the insert as you lifted it.

Perhaps as an other option. Is it possible you could reactive the original glue with a heat gun?
Let us know how it works out.
