Hello, decided to go with this gauge pod for boost and oil psi and at first I didn't think I was going to be able to use it. The pod being flat on the bottom, and the dash having a slight rise or bow to it. I did some thinking of what to use to take up the gap on the sides and found some rubber weather strip at lowes. After painting the pod, i notched the weather strip for the 90 deg corners and the strip has double sided tape that stuck rather well to the pod. It came out ok. I happy with it for now. The A piller may get some gauges in the future, or i was thinking about fabing up some gauge mounts for the center vent openings? I made one for my 07 f150 that came out nice and didn't loose a vent because the opening was big enough for air to flow around the gauge. If anyone has come up with a vent mount i would love to see a pic.. Thanks for reading!

they make these for newer rustangs. IDK how the vent sizes compare but i could see making something like this for a PT by butchering one from a junkyard

![]() I used an addition angle adapter so it would better face my rather then mount flat. ![]() There is always ROCKETMAN8060 way of mounting a dash gauge holder http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...tman-mods.html |

I like your dual pod way more than mine. It looks like it flows with the dash contours very well. It reminds me of the ones for the 94 to 03 mustangs. And did the 1st gens come with optional double din head units or gps nav? I noticed that you're hu opening is square where my 03 is a din and a half with rounded corners...
Never mind about the double din question, i found the thread. I just painted my bezel 2 weeks ago,... May need some touch up or repaint after i do double din mod. Last edited by Silver_Sleeper; 12 Apr 2017 at 08:15 pm. Reason: Question answered |

this is what i see:
Capture.jpg there is a link to an add-on that fixes photobucket links. i use "waterfox" as a a web browser. i have this installed https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-embedded-fix/ and the pics still show up fine. works with firefox too. i literally forgot that photobucket pics don't work as they work again for me and have for a long time. might be worth checking out. ![]()
