Default Will Young Unskilled Drivers Ever Learn?

IF YOU DONT LIKE STREET RACING DO NOT READ THIS POST!

I was driving down the interstate and I had a Honda Accord and a Tiburon fly by me, look and then slow down. They evedently thought they were hot ****. Well, the mistake they made was leaving me a lane to get in the middle. So, I roll in the middle and rev. Well the Honda tries to take off, that was an easy can of whipass. Then the Tiburon, didnt do to bad between 70-90 but afterwards it was over. Well, we got caught up in traffic and he would keep switching lanes but always ends up getting back behind me. When will the youth (as in young in driving skills) ever learn to study the road ahead before making any moves?

Your 20, racing another car on the highway at speeds past 90 with other cars around and you ask when the "youth" is ever gonna learn?

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE

You tell him, CREWZIN[xx(] Maybe when he gets older, he'll still be alive and realize how much of a danger he is. Having worked on many fire/ambulance runs I know of which I speak!!!

Sorry, BBCruiser, I don't condone that type of driving.

The post was for those who actually find "that kind of driving" a rush and fun. I understand people not liking or going with it. Yes, I am 20, glad to see someone can count, but I have been racing and defensive/offensive driving and have taking classes for it since i was 16. If you can read I said Unskilled. So, if a post is not what you like/participate in, dont post.

To your "that kind of driving" is what gets people killed.

Usually, not the driver that is doing it, but the family

that is coming home from an outing or event. States put

speed limit signs up for a reason.

I do understand where you are coming from Hooligan. Alot of bad things do come because of racing on the streets. If its crowded, I will be damned if I will race. If the weather is not cooperative then I will not race. Yet, to have CREWZIN label me as a "youth" when he in fact likes racing too. Even certain people realize that controled straight-aways are perfect grounds for racing, or otherwise he must have just directed his malcontent towards me.

BBC,

This is the only "controlled straight-aways" you'll find me on. That's me near lane. Do I like racing...damn right, almost never miss a NASCAR race either live, on TV or taped, but your not gonna find me out on the street racing another car. I may travel above the speed limit but there's a heck of a difference in traveling alone and a couple of "youths" going at it to see who can go faster.

You catch up, change lanes and "rev" your engine when another car goes by; you admitted there was other traffic on the road; sure sounds like "youth" oriented maneuver to me.

Ya know that is funny. I never miss a Nascar race either, and drag racing is a great sport. But, for you to say that what I did was "youthful", you need to pay more attention to the world around you. I have had older (30-40) come up to me and rev at me and race me just as much as younger people. Of course there was other traffic on the roads, its an interstate. Maybe its not what you like or believe in. That is fine but, being prejudice against "youths" and saying its sounds like "youth maneuver" when older people do that and worse. I am fine with you not agreeing with me on the subject. That only means this post was for those who do.

Fine by me. I just don't see anyone posting their congratulations on your "kill". Usually, the "I beat em by a mile" stories are posted in the GT section where it seams that a lot of owners are out to squeeze every ounce of HP from our little 4 banger so they can go out and kick tale out of the ricers.

And as far as not liking what your doing being called a "youth maneuver", I do look around me...I volunteer for both the local city police department and the Sheriff's office and I see what's out there and who causes most of it. That's it..no more from me.
