I would like to paint the little odds and ends in my PT. I was wondering what is the best way to do it. They're all plastic and I don't want it to peel off. Do I paint it on with a brush or spray paint? Should I use some sort of primer? Most parts are inside but some will be outside (like rain gaurds and the door pillars). Also I have the 03 Turbo and in silver and the driver and pass. side gauge and airbag cover is carbon fiber (I think it is plastic). I would like to paint this as well. Thanks for the help.

Parts that have a finish are easy, just use an adhesion promoter and shoot but if it's a textured nonfinished oiece it has a plastic coating that will ripple and peel if any paint touches it. that coating can be removed, sanding, solvents etc.
Good luck! Bill[8D]

What about painting the center bezel? Is this the same technic, sand the film off and primer, coat paints, and clearcoat?
