Well I knew it was gonna happen. Got my first deer with the PT. Thunderstorm last night, road with no shoulders, deer literally ran into the side of my PT - hit by driver's wheel. Driver's door sticks a little - panel shifted, both doors dented and there's hair on my car. Can't wait to get estimate to fix it.[xx(]
My wife said, "At least it didn't hit your new painted bumper".
When I get it fixed, I'm gonna see if Streamline Design can make a small deer , and I'll put it on driver's door - kinda like fighter pilots.[:0]

I'm envious, you have a very understanding wife.Mine won't let me go hunting or fishing in the PT.

All kidding aside-glad no one was hurt beside the road goat-you did keep it didn't you?
The big grin ate all of cooks venison already.

Don,

Glad your OK. Messed up my Z24 a few years back with one of those horned critters. It came jumping over a guard rail right square in front of me, nothing you can do. Picked hair out of the bumper on that one too. At least your bumper covers in tact.

My Aunt and Uncles blazer had a bush guard on it. I couldn't understand why they kept calling it a cow catcher? Here in SW FL we have cows not deer that get in the road. They do much more damage. My Aunt and Uncle live in Tallahasse, I think they have both there.

Sorry to here about your accident. A neighbor of mine drives a newer Mercedes and about a month ago was driving home from a short vacation and hit a deer. He caught it on the front drivers side corner and the deer actually came partially through the windshield! He wasnt hurt but had to pull the deer out of his car.

Quicksilver, I feel your pain. I left the hair on my PT until it was evaluated by the insurance adjuster. For insurance purposes if there is no doubt that a deer was involved, it won't raise your insurance rates (at least in PA.) Glad to hear you're OK though. Well that is physically, I was depressed for over a month, but then I'm prone to that anyway. Good luck with the repairs......
