malfunction in fog lights
[xx(][xx(]
im having difficulty with my fog light switch on my cruiser 2001, my foglight, plain and simply will not turn off. Any one esle run into this problem?[xx(] Or anyone have any idea on how to fix, already tried looking for the fuse, Please help |

Check to see if there is any condensation in any of the lights, try unplugging them from the light, Disconnect battery ground and leave it off for 5 minutes then reconnect. If not may be a bad multifunction switch. Anybody else with a guess

Welcome bigdaddy20 [^]!! You have two fuse panels, one on driverside behind emergency brake. Another in engine compartment on firewall. I'm sure others will jump in and give more advice.

The multi-function switch is bad and has to be replaced. My 2001 did the same thing. The switch retails for $74.60. I paid $52.34 with tax at my local dealer. The switch is real easy to install. The p/n for a 2001 PT with fog lamps is 5073049-AB.

Been several folks reported bad multifunction switches - I think 32highboy is right on (and nice enough to post the part #).

I had the same problem, it was a bad multi-function switch. It was replaced under warrenty.
