malfunction in fog lights

Default malfunction in fog lights

im having difficulty with my fog light switch on my cruiser 2001, my foglight, plain and simply will not turn off.

Any one esle run into this problem?[xx(]

Or anyone have any idea on how to fix, already tried looking for the fuse, Please help

Check to see if there is any condensation in any of the lights, try unplugging them from the light, Disconnect battery ground and leave it off for 5 minutes then reconnect. If not may be a bad multifunction switch. Anybody else with a guess

Welcome bigdaddy20 [^]!! You have two fuse panels, one on driverside behind emergency brake. Another in engine compartment on firewall. I'm sure others will jump in and give more advice.

The multi-function switch is bad and has to be replaced. My 2001 did the same thing. The switch retails for $74.60. I paid $52.34 with tax at my local dealer. The switch is real easy to install. The p/n for a 2001 PT with fog lamps is 5073049-AB.

Been several folks reported bad multifunction switches - I think 32highboy is right on (and nice enough to post the part #).

I had the same problem, it was a bad multi-function switch. It was replaced under warrenty.
