Could be the multifunction switch, many have had problems with them. My next guess would be flasher going bad or a loss connection.

Agree w/IRPT. Have also read of bad grounding connections, but multifunction switch most often. [xx(]

MichaelDay,
Trying to figure out how to test the flasher unit. Checked for loose wire in hitch harness can't find any thing. Maybe I'm testing it wrong. Harness is spliced with inline splices. Maybe bad sending unit. But I want to start at the flasher.Any Ideas anyone?[:I]

Does your left turn light stay on or off when brakes are applied? If it stays on, it's getting brake current so the flasher is bypassed. I would suspect a crossed wire and back feed. Disconnect the trailer wiring and test again.

Thanks everyone,
I semi fixed the problem. It was the wiring from the trailer hitch module. Disconnected the wire going to the left turn signal/stop light and both worked. Called trialer hitch people and they asked if I used a trailer(twice since January). They tried to blame the new trailer. They said they would fix it this time!!! Thanks again really appreciate it ![]()
