...on my drivers side floorboard. Thats it. No where else. No leather damage (indicating it fell from above). No dampness indicating it came from the outside and traveled along the pedal area down to the floorboard. Im like omgwtf. Im exaggerating really, its more like mild dampness...but still. Anyone else have this problem? [:I]

sakigt,
Ok, you have actually given some good information to start. Clearly, it's not a blocked drain line from the AC unit since that's on the passenger side. Couple of ideas to try (I have had TOO many DCX water leak issues, don't ask me about my 2000 Dodge Intrepid ES, god I loved that car... but I digress [:0]) : 1) Check your door (Yes, DOOR!) seals. Make sure they are in place and snug. That's how the Intrepid got water inside... (digressing again, sorry [:0]) 2) Check to make sure your windshield is not leaking. Was it replaced recently? 3) Windshield wiper mount. (infamous Mopar bugaboo) 4) Body plug loose or missing (underneath the carpet). Grab your hose and start checking! Scott

jforce,
It is highly unlikely to be the heater core since it sits on the passenger side of the car. Not impossible, but very unlikely. sakigt, QSD got me thinking (me thinking = a dangerous scenario)... A while ago, someone wanted to know how to run wires into the car and you suggested a pre-existing channel you had found on the driver's side. Did you check there? Scott

I ran wires through the firewall, but like I said before, the area by the pedals was/is completely dry. The path of water would have to get this part wet first before it hit the floorboard.
Ill check the door seals tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Does it look like the water leak could originate from the door sill area??? Just wondering, because I think the rear window washer fluid hose runs thru that area and it might be leaking. It's bundled into the wiring harness that's located on the driver-side floor. Well at least I think it's the rear window washer fluid hose. It's 3/8 dia rubber hose running the full length of the car to the rear. So, that could be leaking causing dampness even during dry weather, but heck I'm probably wrong.....
