Default What's the biggest object you've haulled in you PT

Just curious what's the biggest most awkward thing you've fit into your PT? I'm allways amazed at the versaltility of the PT, how many things fit in the cargo area. We haulled a set of closet mirro door tonight from Home Depo. I have a roof rack but didn't even need to use it. I've got the leather seats so I'm reallly careful, but still it's the closest thing to having a pick up, in a emergency have to carry something big situation.

We hauled a dishwasher in the carton about a month ago. The guy that brought it out from the warehouse said, "Where your Truck?"[:I]. I only had to fold the seats forward and it slid right in. He said, "If I didn't see it, I wouldn't have believed it". Impressed the HE_ _ out him!!! Loved the look on his face.

I hauled a 300lb gorilla.
Just kidding just my friend.

I filled the back up with as many boxes that fit in our van.

I've had a large coffee table and a small book shelf in there at the same time, and on the next trip I took a secretary desk (you know with the front that slides open) and the top portion of a large computer desk at the same time.

Almost forgot: I also hauled two high-back chairs in one big box for my work. Similar situation where the guy at the store thought it would never fit... I didn't even have to remove the back seats; just folded them forward. hehe

A small kitchen table and 2 chairs - closed the hatch! Legs were left on the table and chairs were not the folding kind! [:0]

Queen size headboard and foot board with bed rails. Hatch wouldn't close because they hung out about a foot over the bumper, but it was easy to tie down. Made a second trip for the 5-drawer chest to go with the bedroom suite - same issue, hatch was tied down and everything rode easy from the furniture store to my house.

A complete children's bedroom set, bed, headboard, foot board and 6 drawer dresser.

I did this the first week I got the car, it was the topic of much conversation for weeks, I think it will become one of those stories my kids can tell their children.

My wife and I went to Sears last year and bought a garden shed, a roll around Craftsman toolbox, and some other stuff. We had to fold down the passenger seat, so she ended up in the back on the floor. Luckily we only had ten miles or less to get home. My next door neighbor said it looked like a clown car with all of the stuff coming out of it.
