Default Warranty/Elec.

I bought a used 2001 limited edition with 52,000 miles and want to know if the back pass. window motor or switch is covered in the regular warranty. Does anybody know ? I still have 3months or 30,ooo
miles left on the warranty at the dealership i bought it at.

Bigin,

Welcome to the forum. If the original warranty was legally transfered to you upon the sale, then there's no reason that the switch or window motor shouldn't be covered, unless the original owner did some extensive interior work and had taken the center console or door panel off to do some work.

The warranty for that item is 3yrs/36,000 miles, so it wouldnt be under warranty. The only thing that is under warranty past that miles/time is drive train.

Welcome Bigin -
I know that late in '01 they offered 7/70 - I got mine just before (10/01).
Best bet is to call dealer.

I believe BlueBlurCruiser is right, unless the other owner bought
more coverage and you transfered it over. It would not be covered.
As bumper to bumper is for 36000 as the rest is drive train.Unless the dealer where you bought it gave you some special warranty[:I].Only one way to know for sure ,go ask.
