Default Newbie with ??

I have just purchased my first Cruiser and I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions. I sold my Vette three weeks ago and that made way for the PT purchase. I WAS deeply involved in the Corvette community for 5 years and was a forum administator for the last two and a half years. I decided to go in another direction and resigned my position on the forum and sold the Corvette. The PT will now become my toy of choice. The PT in question is a Stone White 2001 Limited Edition with low mileage. I've only put about 500 miles on it and so far so good.[8D]

My first question is; How the heck to I remove the decals about the seatbelts from the two front visors. They've been on there since new and I'm not sure how to attack this problem.....and once they're off will the fading, if any, become a problem?

Thanks in advance [^]

Thanks for the warm welcome.....much appreciated!

The "band-aid" fix would work I guess, but I was looking for a "clean" look. Replacing one label with another seems moot to me. But if this is the only way to go then I think I'd have a local graphics shop produce the "band-aids" to my specs. There would be more color choices and a more personal design as well.

Thanks Again!

check out www.ptwarehouse.com --- under the heading of visor plaques, they have a couple of options for covering the "baby death" morbidness on the visors. the material is not a decal or sticker, but a solid material. i got the GT cruiser ones. great people, fast shipping, great product. check out their other trinkets too.
whatever you do, enjoy.

Welcome -
Several PT'ers here with both a 'Vette and a PT Cruiser.
About the warning labels - there is a way to get them off - I believe you use an iron and heat them - PTDoItYourself.Net I think has the routine (now you have to join - it's worth it). Most of us covered them up.

Welcome to the club,

I heard that if you remove or cover this that it may void your warranty or some bs like that.

I wanted to get those plaques that go over them put, after hearing about the warranty void I decieded not to.
