Default Removing intake manifold

Has anybody removed the intake manifold from their engine?
I want to paint mine, but would rather remove it first. It
would make it easier to work on.
Thanks for any help.

Intake manifold removal is detailed in the spark plug replacement guide in the service manual and in the 'guides' section of www.ptdiy.net

It describes the torque settings and bolt tightening sequence you will need to follow.
